“ A real highlight of our day at Knepp was the delicious lunch we had in the kitchen. Each dish was perfectly prepared and a flavour sensation, complemented perfectly by the beer brewed on site. We loved the meats, which had all had a unique depth of flavour compared to those bought in the supermarket/butchers. We also had the elderflower and lemon ice cream with shortbread biscuit - divine!! Thanks to the lovely team who served us so attentively as well! ”
“ We had a wonderful time last Sunday at Knepp Wilding. We started with a lovely walk (recommend that you wear wellies), followed by a delicious lunch in the Knepp kitchen restaurant and a stroll in the shop. The food was amazing. Every mouthful was delicious and both carefully and thoughtfully prepared. I love the fact that all of the ingredients are either from their own land, or sourced responsibly. The attention to detail in terms of how the companies ethos and consideration to nature and the environment was show in everything was very apparent. The staff were very friendly and attentive and I have to stay it was overall the most memorable experience. I would thoroughly recommend a visit! ”
“ Lovely atmosphere, we had great service too and food was fresh and tasty, all natural flavours. Just cheese sauce that comes with fries were extremely salty and too heavy to go with fries. Also Haloumi bites were very very salty so has to be eaten either with salad or paired with drink. Chocolate creme aux dessert was a bit disappointing - very simple - just mouse, plain creme fraishe and a few pistachios sprinkled on top. But it is good in a way thst its not packed with sugar. Also, thats what we loved the most about the place - food and non alcoholic drinks were not overloaded with sugar. Thats a big bonus for people who care what they eat!overall - we enjoyed it and would come back. ”
“ A group of 8 went for breakfast.We were able to sit outside in the glorious sun. Fantastic cooked breakfast and cocktail had by all .Food mainly sourced on site and was delicious. Relaxed atmosphere and enjoyable time had by all. We booked this for the day after we went on a jeep & walking dusk Safari which was extremely informative and interesting,very knowledgeable guides.We heard lots of birdsong including nightingales & turtle doves as well as seeing pigs,piglets,nesting white storks,cows,horses,deer. All results of re wilding .We were inspired to visit Knepp after watching their rewilding documentary. There are also some walks you can do on your own too . Highly recommend. ”
